The success of the Junior Program depends heavily on the support of parents. Our hope is that this section of the website will help make your introduction to LOCR and to the sport of rowing rewarding and enjoyable. In order for this page to be useful to you we need your help. If there is information you feel is missing please let us know by emailing robin@lorowing.com.

There are a number of forms, fees, and other details that need to be completed in order for your son or daughter to participate with LOCR and the regattas we attend. Here is a check list to help you keep track of all the different items.
Below you will find some documents to download. The Parent Handbook has lots of useful information about everything from Regatta fees to appropriate rowing clothing for your son or daughter. The Viewers Guide describes what to expect during a regatta.
A few of our races in the Spring require our athletes be USRowing Members. USRowing Membership is $45 per year. In order to compete at the NW Regional Championships athletes must have a membership.
When you sign-up for your USRowing membership you must also fill out the USRowing Waiver. Filling out the waiver takes care of a lot of additional headaches prior to each regatta.
International Travel Form (Spring Season):
Brentwood Regatta requires travel to Canada. We need the information on the form to help smooth the border crossing. *If your son or daughter does not have a Passport you must get one for them before Spring Season starts. It generally takes up to 90 days to receive a Passport once you apply. PLEASE PLAN AHEAD.
Novice Uniform purchase: New Varsity rowers can purchase unisuits at the boathouse during any practice time. Please talk to Robin for details.
