As day light grows scarce and the weather grows more and more wet, LOCR's Junior Rowing Team spends less time on the water and more time in the gym. Junior Winter Training offers athletes the opportunity to focus on building strength and stamina by lifting weights, rowing on the ergs (indoor rowing machines), and various cross-training exercises. The fitness gained during the winter will greatly benefit their spring rowing experience.
Winter Training runs from November 15th to February 18th with the exception of Thanksgiving Nov. 24th - 28th or Winter Break Dec. 18th - Jan. 2nd. (There is no practice during these dates).
This year we offering two winter training options. We have a 5-day option available, as well as a 3-day option.
To register, choose one of the options below and make your payment. If you have not already filled out the athlete forms below, please do so and hand them in at practice.

3-Day Option
LOCR is offering a 3-Day option in addition to our 5-Day option this year. Athletes who sign up for the 3-Day option will have practice on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There are two practice times. They are:
