It is often said that an athlete doesn't join crew, but his or her family joins the organization. Many oars move the boat and almost every LOCR member volunteers at some point to keep our rowing program moving forward. There are numerous opportunities to volunteer in a host of ways and organized committees with parents willing to assist. Requests for volunteers will be made throughout the year and we encourage all families to contribute their time and expertise. The more involved you are, the more rewarding the experience!

What is the LOCR Booster Club? The Booster Club is integral to the success of LOCR, and parents and volunteers play a vital role, including manning the food tent at regattas, organizing social activities, hosting pre-race dinners (pasta feeds) at family homes, helping with team gear, and more.
