Why we row.
"Rowing to me is one of the best things ever. Everything about rowing makes me excited and proud. I love how technical it is, I feel like with other sports the technicalities they learn are to help them win, with rowing, it's a given. You must know each and every part of the stroke, every breath taken, everything. After that's completed comes the power, that's what separates rowing even more. When everyone in the boat is perfect and together and we are all connected, it settles something in all of us. A certain kind of peace and power. I can't describe the thrill of it. People ask me if I do any sports, and I say, "Rowing, and I'm proud to be a rower.”
