Lake Oswego Community Rowing is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that relies on the support and participation of its rowers, members, families and the community.
Volunteering We ask that each member of the LOCR family contribute at least 10 volunteer hours per year. There are many different opportunities to get involved, from behind-the-scenes help with website and technical issues to more social and interactive opportunities such as regatta help, recruiting, or serving on the board. Please take a look at our Volunteers page to find where you can fit in!
Fundraising LOCR conducts several fundraising activities each year, including dining out opportunities, summer carwashes, the Ergathon, and our largest fundraiser, our Annual Auction. If you have an idea or suggestion for a fundraising opportunity please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We want to hear your ideas!
Donations As a 501(c)(3) organization, LOCR is independent from and receive no financial support from the local school district, city or state. Registration and program fees cover the majority of operating costs, and we rely on the generous support of parents, family, alumni and the community to be able to operate and continue to grow this wonderful program. To make a donation please see our Donation & WishList page.
