Need-based Youth Rowing Scholarship Program

Any young person who wants to row should be able to, regardless of economic circumstance.

To help make this possible, LOCR has instituted a scholarship fund in collaboration with Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation and the George Pocock Rowing Foundation (GPRF).

Partial and full financial aid packages are available.

Funds may be used to cover the cost of program registration, regatta fees, swimming instruction, team uniform, and transportation.

Details

GPRF will review all applications and make recommendations to LOCR about scholarship awards.

BIPOC youth and those facing socioeconomic barriers are encouraged to apply.
